UNSTICK HISTORIC HEROES!

on na 13 we have a rampant problem of historical heros who were captured at the beginning of the server and never persuaded stuck in inactive accounts! there must be a simple fix for this! this is a limited commodity unavailable! can we get some help here please those of us who stuck it out and spent money shouldn't be punished for noobs!

  • Im an active player, I captured a HH from a guy attacking me, I am not pursuading him so he cant get it back...what about us active players teaching stupid people a lesson?

  • It seems it is solved (at least on na5). Got confirmed from 2 persons that unpersuaded heroes could be captured. I did end-game so it is too late for me.

  • Ushi you are misinformed I have had the same city suzed for 4 months and everyday for 4 months I have sow discord. All that is left is a Queen and the HH for the last 3 and a half months. Today again sow discord and guess what? NO HH!!!!
    So try again we are not falling for it the problem still exists and evony does not give a rats #$@%^!!!!

    We updated the game client with a patch fixing the problem, please have at it. Ushi's reports are most probably 100% accurate.

    If I send one of my bad arse heros to reinforce an alliance member who is colonized so they can uprise... and the Suzerain Sows Discord on the colony.. can the hero I sent to reinforce the othe player get captured? I hope this does not turn out to be one of the "side-effects":...

    • I don't think impossible, a few HC16 have been done, whilst they were being account sharing..

      THere is nothing to stop you killing troops, doesn't matter how many people share accounts. as long as you can kill them faster then they can grow them.

      I play from a colonized position, I choose to. Many of you choose to be Suzerains. It's your choice, not your right. You guys are thinking of this from the dominant opressors perspective. Not the new and growing players perspective. The purpose of colonize is to allow a new/smaller player a chance to grow up so they can actually challenge their Suzerain. If they never had a way to hide and protect troops and heros then the Suzerain would keep capturing their heros and dwindling their troops so they could never build up decent attack heros or cause their growth to be too slow. Wha's the matter? You guys don't want your colonies growing up to the point where they can actually beat you? I understand you want to hold your colonies down so they can't grow up to be an actual challenge. But all that does is discourage the new and slower paced players who need much more time than you to buld up. Let your competition grow up. Let them grow to a point where they can offer a challenging fight. You grew up nice and big, so why can't they? Thus they need some ways to hide their heros and protect their troops so the Suzerain does not get them. If they had no way of hiding heros then Suzerains would keep taking heros before they had a chance to build any up. The way colonization, drafting ans Sow Discord works today allows smaller and slower players to do just that.. grow up and take on the bigger boys. So grab your rear and bite your thumb because the competition is coming....

  • Nice one japanpimp aka Bruticus - you never uprise in your "alliance members" aka ALT accounts cities - you hide your troops and HHs. So why not be honest in your post and dont pretend to do anything else.
    • Brian, of course I hide my troops and heros in other alliance members cities. That is smart playing. It gives me a small edge. Remember I am not the one account sharing to keep HC's. Nor am I the one who exploited King/Queen glitches to gain advantage. Nor am I the one who owns Atlantis and spent $30,000 USD on a 15 star set.
      You want to talk about those who have unfair advantage? You want to talk about those who need more edge in the game? It is certainly not the Suzerains, HC defenders and 15 star set players. It is the colonized player and the average player who compose 99% of the player base that need more edge so the game is more competitive in a PvP level. You want a competitive game, right? Or do you want a game where you can totally dominate and get to a point where nobody can challenge you? Sounds like you want the latter.

    Regarding Accounts with stuck HH's. They most likey didnt have the medals to persuade the Historic Hero. HELLO,
    Talk about a noob. Too funny. So they don't have the medals to persuade the HH and then they eventually quit. Thus the HH becomes stuck in an account which is NEVER going to be used again. Come on use your intellect and figure things out for yourself. Players should not have to keep helping evony staff with simple problems. If we do keep helping maybe we should be the ones getting paid. Have a nice day.

  • Whilst there is a fix for sowing discord on cities to allow Heroes to be captured, that only applies to colonies.

    There are now quite a number of Historic Heroes that are stuck in 'inactive' or 'banned' accounts. This has been reported many many times from different servers yet there has been no fix.

    In December support acknowledged that the Heroes would be released for capture very soon - 3 months later and they are still stuck in the banned accounts. A player cannot attack, colonize or use a policy on that city.

    In effect what you are doing by banning a player is to give them a completely free and very very well protected Holiday period. It is also easy tog et banned - simply submit a claim through paypal for the return of monies. 3 days later you get banned until you close the paypal dispute in Evony's favour.

    I know 2 players who went on an extended holiday and did the very above strategy - they came back, ended the dispute and Evony released their ban... nothing lost, no attacks, no lost Historic Hero's or Historic Cities.

    It's about time that a Ban means your account is terminated after a set period - say 7 to 14 days. That way the Historic Cities & Heroes are released for everyone to hunt and capture.

  • Sorry this is such a late reply, but I think the percentage of locked HHs.. at least on na3 is very, very low now. I only know of 2 HHs in extended holiday players (or locked/banned). This out of the 639 that I have identified. And, yes, the other 637 have owners.

    14 days way too little time. Many go on holiday for 30 days. Many just take a few month's break and come back. So what time frame is best? Until the percentage is very high on stuck heroes.. it is a non issue at the moment.. at least for me.

  • Alot of players get hhs at the start then go into holiday mode till they sell them. Theres 2 guys on my server that have been in holiday mode for 3 months and only comes out when he has sold a hh :S Then he goes back in :P
